I don't mean to sound insensitive when it comes to the death of a muderer, but I'm getting quite tired of checking the CNN website for "Breaking News" updates. But really, I think there is a chance to move forward after he kicks the bucket. What do you all think?

officially, he is "deadish"

Or, he could be a zombie. Then, a bullet to the forehead would be required.

I think it will probably get even worse when a power struggle breaks out between Palestinians, although if a progressive leader comes around, who can actually control his own people, which I think will be very unlikely as a progressive leader will be seen as a traitor. Most likely an even extremer leader will emerge, if he is to be able to get power he will have to be pretty extremist. The only real hope of peace in that area is if Israel decides to compromise and make some sort of reasonable offer to the Palestinians who were there with them for several thousand years and only got kicked out because the West felt bad for the horrors of the Holocaust. I definately do not agree with the methods of the PLO and feel that their warfare is immoral.

Stop it... it's not funny.

Still no "Breaking News." hahaha :-)

Another Hitler erased off the face of this earth... soon.
So far I'm very pleased. Bush got reelected and Arafat got a heart attack or something blood-related. It would be interesting if the Israelis gave Arafat some bug similar to one I saw on the X-Files used on Skinner and had him remotely killed after Bush won. How's that for a conspiracy theory? I'm elated. Really.

poison ivy...I'm laughing

You people are so immature. Even though he made have done some Hitler-like things, it doesn't make him a Hitler. It's sad seeing that guy blow kisses while on the face of death.

Well, I'm pretty mature for an 18 year old. Wait a couple more years before you call others immature. Even if I were "childish" in my post, it was probably because I'm so happy and your post was ridiculous. Boohoo :-(

"Stop it... it's not funny." Yes, Ivy, I will go cry in a corner now. OK, now that was immature. hehehe

LOL???????????

haha, I know, right. Even though I stole thirty dollars and shot up a convenience store, it doesn't make me a thief or a murderer. I love your logic Ivy.

How is Arafat Hitler-like? Because he disagreed with a foreign power arbitrarily granting some of its land to Israel? I disagree with Israel occupation of Palestinian land. I also disagree with funding Israel with American tax-money to build bulldozers which will tear down Palestinian homes, and guns which will mainly kill Palestinian children. Yes, Palestinians throw rocks for their defense while Israelis use their American-paid weapons.

I still believe the granting of land to the Jewish was mainly because the world felt sympathy and remorse that it did not do more to recognize and stop the Holocaust before and during World War II and Hitler's reign. The Balfour Declaration was a token of regret for the Jewish people.

People may say Arafat endorses terrorism, but what's the difference between his terrorists and his army? I believe it's the Palestinian Army attempting to win back what is rightfully theirs. I guess a bad example would be if Mexico was being sponsored by some great foreign power to re-occupy Texas,California,New Mexico, and the rest of the Mexican cession. If American wasn't the great military power it is now, would we do whatever we could to claim our Texas, our California? If President Bush was our president, would he pay American 'freedom fighters', called terrorists to the rest of the world, to fight and die?

However, there is no easy answer for Israel and the Middle-East. I do believe Jews deserve their own land, but I disagree with the world, besides the Middle-East, dubbing Arafat and his motives as terrorist like. Granted, the 'freedom fighters' do act in horrible ways such as bombing public places killing innocent civilians, but what else can Palestine do?

The Israel Wall, probably paid mainly by American tax money, seperates the Palestinians from their OWN land. They are kept away from their own land.
It really is volatile, and there is no easy answer, just our beliefs.

Oh, man. Nobody should bother replying to the post directly above mines. Ignore. Ignore. Ignore.

There are some points that merit some discussion, but the rest (90%) of the post could be torn to shreds by a retarded banana. It would be an insult to yourself to even consider replying to that post. I'm glad people like Titanz will never get to influence government (hopefully).

Emsibdn, although most people are thinking what you posted, it was bad taste to post what you did. Just my two cents.

OK, I agree. I guess I don't have enough respect for him to restrain myself :-).

Ummm........

Vancat --- "deadish".

I fell out of my chair laughting at that one.

I should add that I think poison.ivy is correct that it is not right or dignified to make fun of those on their deathbed. Unfortunately, Arafat is/was such a horrible man that I will make an exception.

I'm with you titan. You got one supporter...

It is NEVER right to mock someone on their death bed. Unless its Arafat. :)

Yes, he may not be a very good person, but there is no need to publish our death wishes for him on the internet. That's in bad taste... honestly. Keep those types of opinions to yourself.

mmmm.... naaaaa, not really. I believe it is justified.
