I cannot recall the term the College Board uses to describe the service where they charge $18 for a copy of the actual test. Does anyone know when this is mailed out?

It’s mailed out a bit after the next test date (in november)

It is called score verification, <a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board; , and CB states it takes about six weeks after the test to be sent if you order it as part of test application or about 4 weeks after you order it if you wait until test score comes out to request it and that is usually how long it does take.

Thank you both! The CB’s servers were struggling this morning so I couldn’t log on to find that info. Rather ironic that the test will arrive sooner if ordered today than if ordered at registration. Am tempted to order again so as to have it in hand sooner. (Do either of you know if it is even possible to force it out sooner by requesting again?)

My son plans to take the Dec. 1st test and it would be useful to see where he went wrong. Am wondering if the combination of Oct & Dec test dates is atypical as the timing of mailing the test does not lend itself to informed studying.

Thanks again for your prompt replies.

From link drusba provided: “In many cases, Question-and-Answer Service materials may not arrive until after the next scheduled test date. Materials are typically mailed within 6-8 weeks of the test date if you order when you register, or 3-4 weeks after ordering if you do so after scores have been released for your test.”

Just a follow-up. I called CB and was shocked to get right through to a live rep.

Apparently, one would be better served by waiting to order Q&A today than ordering when registering for exam. While the expected delivery dates are close, ordering today stands a better chance of earlier delivery. Annoying…but thought I would pass info along to anyone else who may be reading this. Also, I am unable to order again as I already ordered.
