<p>I just got accepted but it doesn't mean anything unless I can get a good ammount of money. Anyone know when we'll recieve all the info that lays out our financial aid situations? Congrats to all who got in!</p>

<p>This is strange...if they sent it out on wednesday..you'd think someone would have gotten it already.</p>

<p>I'm wondering if they maybe put a hold date on it, kind of like what they did with the Harry Potter books. All the letters are just WAITING at the post office, unable to be delivered before the 1st.</p>
<p>And if that is the case, I am protesting. Like, picket signs and anti-adcom rallies.</p>
<p>Not too surprised the packets haven't reached you yet. If admissions mailed them on Wednesday it probably means they sent them to GW's mail services that day. They then had to have postage applied (to somewhere between 5 or 6 thousand pieces) and delivered to DC post office to be sent on to recipients...and these just the acceptance packets. We've found that mail in and out of DC can be a bit slow sometimes. I'd guess the acceptance packages will start appearing early next week. Congratulations to all who are receiving them.</p>
<p>I got mine today. I'm in MD so only an hour from GW. The package looks pretty fancy but the inside wasn't good for me at all...no scholarship money :-( That means no GW for me (I'm int'l so I can't apply for need-based aid)...</p>

<p>i got my packet in the mail today, but it didn't include any financial aid info; only the acceptance letter, a packet about paying for gw (in general), and other typical stuff. i just sent them an email asking if there was a mistake or if financial info is coming separately.</p>
<p>i did get a scholarship, though, but it was just mentioned in the acceptance letter, not like how grants and loans are presented in a chart... i hope that's not all they're giving me</p>
