When do we hear back from UCSD?

Do we hear back electronically on TritonLink first?

on Saturday or Sunday of this week, thru their online system

Just be patient and give them time to make a thorough evaluation.

If it's anything like last year, expect the server to bug when there's too many packets being sent/bandwidth being overloaded. I had to wait two days after it first was posted because of server failures.

so all decisions come out saturday or sunday of this week?

None after it?

is it for sure this weekend or just speculation?

for sure...

I am soooo nervous....I can't believe we'll know by this weekend ><

This weekend? Wow! How did you guys find out it's gonna be this weekend?

can't wait.

this decision will really clear up my options.

I dug up the archives. The past 2 years both fell on the 1st Saturday after the 15th. 3 years ago, it fell on the 1st Sunday after the 15th. So this year, they should start releasing statuses on 3/17 or 3/18.

It's generally mid-March. So, it's the 15th, give or take a few days.

does this apply to rejections as well? i mean, if we don't hear this weekend, should we assume we're not in? or will they post rejections this weekend?

yes. rejections come out at the same time.

damn I'm nervous. not feeling very confident

my sister told me she got her acceptance for ucsd on marth 28th last year...

Did she appeal? You can appeal after your rejection and it naturally comes later. Also, what was the date on the letter? My UCLA engineering letter was dated the 18th but I didn't get it until the 22nd (February)

she got into uci the first of marth, ucla the 10th, davis the 15th, sd on the 28th, usc on april 3rd or something.

march, wow that is nice and soon. tomorrow would be good.

Is it by major or do they just release all the accepted letter at once? I'm so nervous.

all at once.
