<p>Hello! I applied at the end of September to Stony Brook as a transfer for the Spring of 2013. I didn't need to give in my high school transcript since I had over 24 credits. I know the deadline for applications is November 11 but does anyone know when I'll be finding out the verdict? Thank you so much!</p>
<p>Notifications will probably start going out around the end of October. You can check online through SOLAR to see if there’s anything missing; as long as you’re complete, then hopefully you’ll be in the first round.</p>

<p>I have exactly 24 credits (Not including my Fall 2012 semester. If it is included,which I assume is not, then my total credits would be 39) BUT I do have one class that I got a D+ (I know! Awful!) Everything is between a B to an A range. Since it’s 24 credits but one class won’t transfer, do I still need to give in my high school transcript? I really hope not because I’m not particularly proud of it. :(</p>
<p>But by now Solar would have told me I was missing something right?

<p>If you have completed 24 credits, then we do need your high school transcript, but only for proof of high school graduation. Your grades won’t come into play, and we don’t need SAT/ACT scores.</p>

<p>I received an acceptance letter in the mail yesterday [Wednesday Oct 24]. I’m a transfer student also and I have ~70 credits. I applied mid-early September (3.4 GPA).</p>
<p>Wow! Congratulations! My gpa is a little lower than yours which discourages me a lot but I can’t lose hope! I really hope I get in!

<p>Ahahaha it kind of does! My GPA was a 3.15 last semester. 
ONE CLASS ruined me. Bagh. I had one B and A’s in everything else. Keeping my fingers crossed!</p>
