I'm an incoming freshman, and I'm living in my own studio (close to campus).

On Thursday, I have a math discussion at Evans until 2PM, then I have an hour break, and then at 3PM I have a SE Asian discussion at Dwinnelle.

Within that hour, I don't think I'll have enough time to run back to my apartment, make lunch, and then go back onto campus. So I was thinking, is it enough time for me to grab something to eat at Foothill (considering lines, seating, walking, blah blah blah)?

Sorry for the random non-academic question :P.

[edit] Oh yeah, similar situation on Friday, except the classes are at Pimental and then Latimer, so it's close...

Well then I guess you’re out of luck bud.

lol jk. You have plenty of time. Thursday: hit up the GBC. Friday: hit up Foothill. Dunno how FH will be anymore since they’ll be changing their style of serving so they can rip students of their points, but they have their own mini-market too.

You’ll change a lot in college… eating and sleeping patterns…I eat lunch around 2-3. dinner around 9. Sleep around 3. Wake up at 7. Sometimes skip breakfast.

Just make yourself a sandwich. Or pack some almonds.

Yeah, I’m just worried about the eating because I have a history of having syncope (fainting) episodes T_T. I just want to make sure I don’t pass out :P. And I’m allergic to almonds, cry LOL.

GBC - Golden Bear Cafe?

There’s a place called The Terrace Cafe (or something like that) that is above one of the engineering buildings. they sell grab and go food items, drinks, sandwiches, etc. It’s above a building right next to Evans.

Terrace is pretty good. Their parfaits are to die for. Good hot chocolate too. OH GAWD I MISS IT SO MUCH

BTW, one hour is PLENTY of time to eat. You’ll probably have time to go to your apartment (given that it is just a few blocks from campus), but it’s not really worth it.

Do you have vasovagal syncope? If this is something serious you should get it checked out before coming to college. If this is chronic then carry a bottle of coke or caffeinated drink with you.

There is also Yali’s cafe in Stanley Hall across from Evans, which takes credit card though no meal points.
