<p>Early offers by April. All the rest by Mid May. Acceptance letters go out later than the U.S ones… (common time for canadian universities). I know because I just transfered heere from the U.S and I work in the Admissions Office.</p>
<p>For my son’s application, U of T app status says the file is complete, that they have all the info they need to make a decision, and that he will be notified by the end of February. His school has not yet sent in midyear grades, only 1st quarter, because midyear ones aren’t available yet. Do you think this means he has a good chance of being accepted?</p>
<p>Does “Early offers by April” mean just that that’s the earliest it’ll arrive?</p>

<p>Aimileti are you a grad applicant? I was just wondering why you applied to U of T. A prestigeous school as it is, from what I’ve heard it is not as well recognizede in the U.S. No offense, it’s just that I applied to U of T as well.</p>
<p>No, I’m applying as an undergrad. From what I’ve heard, it sounds like it’s the best school in Canada (with its major competition being McGill). I want to be a filmmaker, and Toronto is a major center for film. The city’s awesome (and in a different country), and it’s relatively cheap.</p>
