Do I have a good shot at getting in?
Your ACT is fine - UW GPA is probably a tad low for “slam dunk” status. Have you take chem and bio in addition to physics?
Yes, I took Honors Bio and Honors Chem. My junior year GPA was 3.75
OK - all good signs and your application wasn’t even complete till 3 1/2 weeks ago so it’s early yet. Assuming no secondary factors such as first generation, URM, military, etc., your stats put Carlson just out of the safety/match range. that might delay things a bit. At the very least, you straddle the fence between Carlson and CLA but it’s also quite possible that they simply haven’t gotten around to looking at most of the Carlson applications from your school. Hang tight and good luck to you!
Thank you very much!
