When will Rutgers Honors College notifications come out?

@acceptme2022 I got the link from a friend and checked at 7:35am yesterday and saw that I got into the Honors College. Did the Dean of SAS say anything about honors college decisions being subject to change? Because that would suck if I lost it now that I saw I got in early… Btw I have a picture of my Honors College notification if anyone is interested in what that page looked like.

@acceptme2022 Yes please!

Nothing specifically about Honors College, just that stuff wasn’t final yet and that there is a potential for stuff to be incorrect (probably not in your case though, I hope)

Where will we be able to see the information when it does come out? The application status portal?

Has anybody gotten an invitation yet?

where will the invitations be? I didn’t get anything in the mail so I’m assuming they’re online- will it just be on the application status page or is there somewhere else?

It will be online. I am currently in HC and awaiting decision for my brother. I don’t remember exactly how it appeared but I do remember financial aid and scholarships coming with the decision online. A link is given to the aid

Also if anyone has any questions about the HC or scholarships while they’re at it feel free to ask. I’m currently a sophomore with Presidential scholarship

@Jetsfan1717 What were your stats if you don’t mind me asking?

96 ish GPA out of 100 (unweighted) 2280 SAT and 36 ACT. No class rank. Is there any other stat I missed that you want? @Tigr0705

@Jetsfan1717 Nope, you hit all the ones thank you. What do you think it would take to get the presidential scholarship? Or how difficult is it to get?

@Tigr0705 what I heard statwise is 2250 SAT and 95 GPA. Take that with a grain of salt but a couple years ago that’s what my school assumed.

@Jetsfan1717 do you know what kind of stats are eligible for full ride…like a presidential scholarship

^The requirements are different depending on which school is reviewing. I believe Mason Gross School of the Arts has the lowest requirements, it might be followed by SAS, and SOE is probably the most competitive. My son is a SAS presidential scholar in his third year. He had a 2400 SAT, 800 on all subject tests, 4.0 uw and 6.0 weighted GPA, 10 or 11 AP classes, and #1 class rank at a good public high school.

By the numbers:
37,600 applied for Fall 2015 admission
80 presidential scholars accepted and enrolled.
I was told 20% of those awarded the presidential scholarship enrolled, so about 400, or the top 1% of applicants in 2015 were awarded the presidential scholarship.

Wow so did no one get anything yet? I thought today would be the day

@abdefgh I’m not sure as mentioned above its a rough estimate but 2250 and really high GPA and you can feel somewhat confident or at least have a fighter’s chance. For the record, I got the Presidential scholarship offer from both SAS and SEBS, the two NB schools I applied to. They really take a lot of factors into account though

On GoRutgers, an admissions officer stated that they are aiming to release HC results tomorrow and Financial Aid by Friday.

@Jetsfan1717 Do you know how your stats would have translated for a GPA on the 4.0 scale and the ACT?

And are you saying it’s still a ‘holistic’ analysis?

I’m guessing it’s like a 3.95 + and my ACT was a 36. It is holistic but stats are the most important
