When will "Staff" instructors be named?

Since an instructor can make or break a course - especially those "weed out" classes like Calculus and Chemistry, will our preview advisors know which instructor or TA is assigned to each session? (Right now, the course listings just say "staff".) If they don't have the assignments, does that info become available before Drop/Add? Anyone with experience in trying to change sessions after the staff is announced?

For language classes they don't release who will be teaching the intro classes. My teacher said he found out his assignment a week before class began. For higher level lang classes they usually release it.

Science lab TA's are not usually released (to the students at least).

Math classes can be found here: http://www.math.ufl.edu/~frank/cgi-bin/schedule_csh.cgi?sem=f&yr=2007&submit=GET+LIST

You can email/call the dept and ask sometimes.

Thanks for the Math link. It does list the lecturers, but doesn't have TAs or assistants listed yet. The lecturers I checked on don't have very good ratings - hopefully they aren't that bad!
Is there a similar link for Chemistry?

Usually TA assignments are last minute and even when they get people, they dont post them (exp math). Chemistry usually post its lecturers for the classes on the course listing online (http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/soc/). If they arent there then they are still trying to find someone to teach it.

Physics is here: http://www.phys.ufl.edu/academics/courses/fall07.shtml
