I've requested the app tracking from the online system twice, and both times my GC's recommendation and report weren't there. Should I email them to ask already, or wait a while longer? It's already about 3 weeks past the EA deadline...

My personal suggestion is to NOT email them just yet. They've already said that it would take them a few weeks to sort everything out-- so wait a little longer. You don't want to come off as impatient.

well College Board said online that SAT results have been submitted, but the tracking system still says that mine has not been received or is still being processed

the link is the axess link, on the stanford website - anyone can get to it, though they will send it to you. Look in the left hand sidebar, under Guest access, and click on the link for application status. It's easy to miss it.

you will see a message that says the following:
Dear Applicant,

In order to check the status of your undergraduate application materials,
please enter the email address below as you provided it to us on the Common Application, and click Submit.

The email address you provide will be validated against our records, and a follow-up email will be sent
to that same address within 24 hours containing the current status of your required application materials.

My SAT results have not been received by Stanford despite College Board's statement that it has been sent already. Anyone suggest that I resend the results at the cost of US$9.50?

electronically sent yesterday
paper format is not delivered (or maybe not sent) till the 30th
since Stanford has switched to the CommonApp (and wants less paper to deal with), methinks they would have scores sent electronically

has anyone else not received the email about the axess link? i just followed the link provided above (thank you thank you thank you) and submitted it manually, but it worries me slightly that i have not gotten an independent e-mail, considering the application instructions say that "we will provide you with instructions on how to check the status of you application materials once we have received From 1, the Basic Information Form."

khoff, I don't think that quote is from the stanford app? there is no form 1 for Stanford. That sounds like the Brown app to me! :) Stanford just says they will contact you if anything is missing - they probably got sick of the deluge of enquiries, and did what they should have done to start with namely implement an automated status check for applicants...

mine was processed in october, more than ample time to reach stanford in my opinion. i think there was a mix up in the first and last names since I'm Asian. have since clarified with Stanford with an email and awaiting reply =)

Ailey, i was confused about that too...i'm assuming they just mean the Common App when they say form 1. but they sent me a hard copy application instructions, and that's what it said. anyway, i followed arwen's link above, and got a response so i feel better now.
