When will the ACT scores come out?

So I took the ACT in September but I forgot my admission ticket at home. I was so nervous the night before the test so I didn't prepare everything properly. So I didn't put the match number on my scantron. will the results really be delayed for 2 months. I am dying of anxiety and I don't know what to do. i am a senior and I need those scores to send my college apps. Also, my parents will kill me if they knew what happened. I have been keeping it to myself since then hoping the scores will come out earlier? So any previous experiences with such a situation?

Your scores WILL be delayed longer than usual because it will take more time to match your test with your account. Or, you may just get the score report in the mail, which comes later than the scores are released online. You can try contacting ACT for more information.

How did you get to take the ACT without your admission ticket? In my test center at least, and for when I took the SAT, the admission ticket was required to take it.

well you only need a driver’s license or school id to get into the test center. the ticket is just to fill out ur information. BUt do you know about how long will it take to get those scores? It says on the website up to 8 weeks but I’m assuming this is the worst case scenario so it shouldn’t be that bad? At least i’m hoping for that

Well, a paper report is mailed to the address you put on your answer sheet, so if you didn’t forget that, then I don’t see why you wouldn’t get the paper report at the least. It comes at least 10 days after the online scores are first posted. Contacting ACT is probably your best bet right now.

well but what should I ask when I contact them? It says on their website that there is no way to speed the process. I just need to receive it before NOvember 4th because that’s the deadline for University of Chicago’s early admission.

i finally recieved my scores. thank you for your help. I got a 30. yaaaaay
