<p>I am currently waiting for the decision on the residence halls.<br>
When is the release date?</p>
<p>Usually sometime in June, hopefully before any SOAR dates.</p>
<p>You should call housing, the notification date was last week Monday.</p>
<p>My son received his dorm notice last week.</p>
<p>Thank you for the response. I got a single room at Tripp Hall. Has anyone got that Hall too?</p>
<p>By the way, do both student pay individual amount of money when they share the dorm or is the fee divided between students?</p>
<p>When living in UW-Madison Residence Halls (as opposed to private dorms or apartments) each student is separately billed for housing and is only responsible for his/her share. The first of four bills will be issued in July and is due in early August.</p>
