When will they mail the letters?

can we find out if we got in online or only in the mail?

I cant wait till tuesday!

Clemson doesn’t have an online system (unfortunately) where you can track your application status.

I appkied mid-January but didn’t send my sats until after feb 1 and sent in my midterm report after too. But both were sent in shortly thereafter. Do you think ill be included in this batch?

your application file needed to be completed by December 31st to be in the first batch of acceptance letters, after that it’s on a rolling basis, if they’ve done your already somehow you might get your letter in this batch.

For those that have been accepted, waitlisted etc…

What does the package that Clemson sends out look like…big envelope, small letter size etc…

Hoping to have some news in the mail tomorrow and I promised my daughter I wouldn’t open anything until she gets home from school :-)

Thanks,

Cindy

PS…

Any thoughts on her chances…it’s her first choice!

Out of State - Pennsylvania

The package that I got last year was a big envelope (because there is a big book inside with a couple of student profiles/an A-Z guide to Clemson)

my mistake, Clemson doesn’t actually have a deadline of when you have to complete your application file (except you do have to complete it by December 31st if you want to be considered for an academic recruiting scholarship).

However, I assume that the sooner you did it, the better.

cindyski - the envelope is big and you can’t miss it. It’s white, orange and purple and says “You are Tigertown bound!” on the front in big letters. My D got her acceptance back in November.

good luck to everyone that gets their decision today!

Nothing came in the mail today…in Pennsylvania…anyone else out of state receive anything?

I can’t believe we have to wait another day :-(

S got his acceptance in MA today

My mail comes in around 2-3PM here in Georgia, so I’m twiddling my thumbs waiting for time to pass. Hopefully I get my admissions decision today. Congratulations to all!

S got his acceptance today in Colorado

My son received his acceptance letter yesterday (Tuesday). We are in VA. He got his second choice major though – he wanted to be Pre-business but got Communications. I called Clemson and was told he would be allowed to transfer to Business after 1 semester on a space available basis – I wonder if there will be space available. He’s been accepted to Penn State’s Smeal College of Business already, but Clemson is his first choice. This is a hard decision. Oh, for those that are curious, his GPA is 3.9 (top 10% of his class), 4 APs, Editor in Chief of the school paper, Varsity baseball, student government, etc. His SATs were not that great (1170/1760) – I guesss the other stats/activities pulled him through.

If anyone has any info/advice on changing majors, I’d love to hear it.

Anyway, for those that are still waiting, good luck.

Changing majors shouldn’t be too hard, I know someone in chemistry switch to a business major after this past semester. First semester, just try to take as many mutual classes as possible between communications and pre-business and then adjust afterwards. (maybe fulfill some general education requirements too)

Thanks, Pierre.

Ok, now I’m officially going crazy…nothing in the mail again today…called the admissions office and the won’t accept phone inquiries until Monday, Feb. 22nd…

try emailing them? maybe they just don’t want to talk to angry parents and kids for now…

Pierre0913: The deadlines for the academic recruiting scholarship/OOS Waiver are to apply by December 1st and complete the admissions process by December 31st.

(Ref: Post #47)

thanks for the correction, last year I think they said that you had to apply by December 31st so maybe they changed it for this year
