When will they post the letters?

My friends and I are kinda very nervous right now… Somebody told us that if by this time, we don’t get any news from the colleges, mean that we are out… :frowning: Like they said Oberlin and Lafayette have already emailed their decisions to those who made it… :frowning: So from your experiences, when will the following colleges email/mail out their acceptance letters and when did you get it? Please note that 3 of us are all international students (from Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia ← classmates in Singapore)… Actually, we don’t mind if some of you use US reference cuz it should be about the same time… The school list is below (quite a number of them)
UC Berkeley, UC LA, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Brown, Lafayette, Oberlin, Franklin-Marshall, Williams, Middlebury, Stanford, Cornell, NorthWestern, UC San Diego, Colgate, Carleton.
Thank you all so much.

ucla is already posted, don't know about the rest of your list though

Thanks... Anyone else got any info, please please please help... We all apply regular for Fall 2005 admission... and 2 more schools: John Hopkins, Washinton U in StLouis

Berkeley will be the evening of the 31st.

Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Brown, Cornell- March 31st 5pm EST. That will be 6 am April 1st in singapore.

UCLA: Already posted.
Berkeley: March 31st, 7 p.m.
Brown: March 31st, anywhere from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (they staggered the times in the e-mail they sent to applicants)
Northwestern: Evening of 25th/26th
Stanford: Early April, and not a day sooner; some are saying they'll probably mail out letters at the dead-end of March
UC San Diego*: Bets are on either tomorrow afternoon or Monday at the latest online
Williams: Probably that default date of April 1st

** online postings*

Northwestern won't be until, at the earliest the 25/26, some of Cornell's schools are rolling, so some admisson letters are out and some aren't.

Thank you, nirvana33, iluvmusak, bruno, laurak, m3ssi for your info... :) Any other info is greatly appriciated... Is there any chance that they will post it early for those who made it? Thanks...

Princeton and Harvard (and probably Yale, but I don't know anyone who was accepted to Yale) send admissions decisions and financial aid packages to those accepted (only those accepted) by Fedex. Princeton does not release decisions by e-mail or on the web, Harvard will e-mail starting in the afternoon of the 31st (early morning of April 1st).

Stanford releases decisions on the 30th/31st of March and will e-mail international students on or around that day.

Yale, Cornell (Arts & Science and Engineering) and Brown release decisions on their website after 5pm on March 31st (the common Ivy reply date - they may * not * release decisions before that date). Cornell's site last year was impossible to access due to overload for the better part of 9 hours.

Mail to Singapore is generally fast and efficient. You should receive all decisions by mail no later than Wednesday 6 April (and most probably well before that). Last year, some of the Princeton rejection letters came within 24 hours of the Fedexed acceptance letters. You should be able to call any college you haven't heard from yet by Thursday 7 April.

ya it sure is fast in sinagpore.....my darned mit rejectn letter came less then 24hrs after the dhls.... :p

I hope I'll get a Fedex but my Indon friend is kinda very down already... He applied to Berkeley, LA, JHopkins, Washington U in StLouis, NorthWestern and Cornell... He really really wanna go LA and now it's not him... Anyway, really thank you all guys... If you got any updates, tell me lah (haha)...
