When will university receive grade report?

I remember someone saying their college got their grade report before they did. Because of extenuating circumstances, I need my grade report there ASAP - when will it arrive at my university (in Austin, TX), does anyone know?

I can't speak for your school, but FSU posted my scores to my transcript yesterday, so I would guess very shortly - that is, if they haven't already recieved your scores.

I'd call the admissions office.

Is yours a big school? I think the bigger it is, the less likely it will be recorded on the transcripts in a timely manner. I contacted my school (uw-madison) for the same reason... They basically told me (paraphrasing), "Sometime in the fall, when we get around to it." Argh.

I got a fairly detailed answer from my university: they said they receive scores electronically from the College Board once a month, and they would be entered into their grading system the next day.

As of right now, my grades aren't on. It looks like they should be on soon for me, or maybe College Board hasn't sent mine because I took Psychology late, and the grade still isn't on the phone line.

so it goes on ur unofficial college transcript?
is that where to check?

Um, it should go on your official one...lol.

What happens if you didn't indicate a college on the answer sheet. I'm a junior btw.

You just indicate it on the answer sheet next year when you are a senior when you know where you are going.

Each school mails out the transcripts, and the colleges want them by JULY 1, which is today

So, the schools do the best they can, sending out hundreds of transcripts to scores of schools

The transcripts have to be printed, stamped with about 4-5 different stamps, a list of schools with who is going where is printed out, the transcripts are sorted for those schools, and double checked

While this is going on, you have to pull the transcripts f kids that have "issues" with their records...failing a class etc.

So, it takes time, and if the college deadline is JULY 1, today, well, schools very likely mailed them this week

Why don't you just call your school. and ask when they were mailed, and if you know your school needs it ASAP, take some initiative and contact your school in a timely fashion.

I think you're talking about high school transcripts ma'am, we mean official AP transcripts from the College Board.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, citygirlsmom, but I was referring to a "grade report" in the AP forum...
