When will we get our financial aid letter?

Saying what type of financial aid will be offered to us - loans/grants and such

Late March or early April

UT started handing theirs out…A&M is a bit behind.

i was up there today…
some time on or before april 12th.

Wat does ur status say on the website? Mine still says pending for the past 3 months

I was automatically accepted reloadedxp if admissions is what youre referring to

I happened to log onto howdy.tamu.edu today and my financial aid offer was up
I suppose my letter is on the way in the mail.

Oh wow!
Still waiting for mine :(

my aid pkg appeared on the howdy website yesterday

My daughters scholarship/financial package arrived today.

*** in the mail

I haven’t got my aid pkg in the mail yet. I am still waiting to see if I got the Terry Scholarship.

2 those who got their fin aid package, did u all get anything or just loans?

reloadedxp i got like 8K in loans, then the rest in grants. those who don’t have that much need will be given loans before theyre given grants. they only use grants for those with a lot of need.

I’m rather worried about my financial aid status. Due to a slip up, I didn’t get in a form until like last possible day. My status on the Howdy site said it was good, but now it says that there is action needed. I’ll probably have to call them soon.

Got my letter today, same as what it said online.

my friend for 15k in grants -_-
he was pretty excited!

yay! finally got mine!

15k in grants?! wow awesome! do you know his EFC?

srry I don’t know his EFC

My EFC is around $5500 and I only got $4500 in grants. I know I qualify for the Aggie assurance so I don’t know what’s going on. I called them and they said the amount sounded right, although they didn’t check my specific package.

The rest were loans and there’s about $3300 in unmet need. Is there anything I can do to get more grants?

call them back and explain about ur situation…and get a valid reason and not just sounding right. =]
