when will we find out whether or not we got into kelly? anyone know?

About four weeks after you get your packet saying you got into IU.

thanksssss

i got mine like a week after i got the general big packet. it's jst a small envelope btw. don't be scared

Yeah I got my acceptance letter yesterday but it was about 6 weeks after I got my big packet.

From what I understand, if you have above a 3.5 and 1250, you're in (this is known as DirectAdmit).

its actually a 3.5 and a 1270 for direct admission but yeah i think if you have that then you are directly admitted

In the comparison chart that I use, it's 1280, which equals a 29 ACT score. I use this one:

CORRECTION:

In looking on IU's site:

Kelley School of Business Undergraduate 2006-2008 Online Bulletin: Undergraduate Program

I see they say the required score for SAT is at least 1270, so Charlieew is correct. Apparently their SAT requirement is lower than their ACT requirement.

about 2-3 weeks after I got the big packet I got a small envelope telling me I was accepted.

if you apply for direct admit, but do not get it, do you still get a small envelope notifying you of that decision? I got my big packet about a week ago, so now I'm just waiting for the envelope.

I have 35 ACT but a 3.4 GPA, so I'm worried I might not get in because my GPA is below minimum (I go to a rigorous college prep school, thus the lower GPA). However, I read that you can appeal to decision if you fulfill the ACT but not the GPA, or vice versa. If i end up not getting in, I'm going to go this route. Hopefully they will let me know either way, so that I don't just wait forever.

anyone?

10char

If this helps, I got my packet mid November got my Kelley DA yesterday.

I am really confused about this case, too.

I have a same problem like the guy two comments above....

I have a gpa of 3.9 but my Cr+ M is like 40 points lower than the requirements..

Does anybody know what would happen?

if you don't get in, you can petition to try and get in.

otherwise, you can apply after one year to get in. it should work out for you

i agree with the people above i have a 31 ACT, but my GPA is only a 3.3 because i go to one of the elite private schools in my area and take a hard schedule. Does that mean i won't get direct admit.

Its also weird because i could easily get a 3.5 by taking a bunch of low level classes and it doesn't add up btw.

i send my application and all purporting material before november first yet i still haven't heard from indiana. What is going on? anyone else sharing my dillema

Yes, I have the same problem. My application status hasn't even changed. But according to the admission counselors, I should hear something this week. I'm still about 50/50 sure that I will though.

yo i called them up. it was total BS. my school received notice that indiana received my transcript november 3. But i got mail saying my app was incomplete so i get my counselor to call up. indiana lost my app. Then they fail to tell my counselor to send the counselor form. i had to tell him tat indiana failed to inform him that the form is also required. Then we call them up again only to learn that it took them two hours to get my app from the fax machine.

i hope this isnt how the administration also operates.
