<p>in addition the # of applicants went up SIGNIFICANTLY this year ...they went from a 27% admit rate to a 19% (i am giving u the facts..not trying to get u scared...sry if it is...but if u r a cc-er i know u will have made it!!)</p>

<p>i was accepted rd last year but i think they send that stuff to everyone at the same time - early june. actually, i got my columbia email in may (so you can get on facebook.. REAL facebook rather none of this high school stuff) but the barnard one didnt come until early june. at that time they also send you stuff about housing/roommates, packing tips, courses to think about, etc, and they'll send you a book by a barnard alum sometime in the summer to read if you want.</p>
