Ah! So if I live in California and letters are sent out on Friday.........will I get it on Monday? Tuesday? any thoughts?
[/quote]

well, it takes 3 business days to send first class mail from ny to la (i only know about la, sorry) .. and it takes 2 business days (count sat. as a business day for postal purposes) if it's priority mail... so you'd get it on monday or tuesday. :)

to anyone who's in new york, you should be hearing today.

Mail came for me (immediate New York metropolitan area); nothing from Barnard : / For alums-- do the letters come in the regular mail, or are they delivered specially?

emmared:so so sorry. . .we have not heard yet. . .it was good of you to report even when you were disappointed. May all good things come your way.

Alright. The format's pretty much taken from Columbia (which was taken from MIT, which was taken . . . haha)

Decision: Accepted!

Am really, really glad I got in. Wasn't expecting the email--it was very nice to receive.

but am I the only one that gets mildly insulted when someone says that they only spent the day before the app was due to finish the supplement when other people spent days and weeks to prepare the supplement?

The supplement was quite a number of questions...

CA_girl, I'm sorry that you feel mildy insulted when people say that.. but I know that for me I work better under pressure. If I had spent days to finish the supplement it might've turned out horribly. :)
