I recently received an email of acceptance from UCR but I’m worried that this means that I have not been chosen for any scholarships the school offers. Does anyone know if any scholarship notifications are supposed to come the moment we get accepted or do they come in later?
for this year, probably later.
Last year, they came out with the first acceptances on January 14th with scholarships already posted. I would go with somewhere around Jan 14th scholarships will start to roll out this year. Wish you luck!
So no one heard anything back from ucr about regents scholarship?
@kevin021 @greencarrot Check myUCR now! I logged on today on a whim and found out that I got chancellor’s scholarship! I don’t know if they’ve done the same for regents and other rewards… or even if they’re posting all the scholarship notifications at once. We’ll see. Good luck!
Just found out my daughter received an offer of a Chancellor’s Scholarship tonight! Very excited and grateful that she received this huge honor! Best wishes to all prospective students!
Did the scholarship notification show as an Alert? I checked mine and didn’t get anything so I’m really worried 
im so stressed i havent gotten anything yet…i assumed my statistics would be enough for at least some scholarships.
@rllyrlyodd what was your uc gpa and sat?
@narinra it showed up when I logged in. Right below the acceptance letter, it said something like “we have more good news for you!” And then it told me that I got the scholarship. You should see it right after you log in, not in alerts.

my daughter was accepted for fall 2015 as a biochemistry major as well…overall weighted gpa 4.15, unweighted gpa 3.9, csu/uc gpa 4.4…volunteers at kaiser, 25 act score, etc…no word on scholarship offers…i am beginning to worry…
Just log into your myUCR account and on the front page it will say “congratulations, you got __ scholarship”. I got regents, so they’re definitely out 
@narinra i have a 3.8 + 1780 sat/ 26 act i thought it was at least decent…eh

Yay I got Regents Scholarship!
It seems weird that they don’t send you an email notification, I didn’t think I got any scholarship until I checked this forum and learned you have to actually log in to myucr to find out.
My stats in case anyone wants to know:
UC unweighted: 3.96
UC capped: 4.26
UC uncapped: 4.42
Class ‘rank’ : top 9% (school does not give explicit ranks)
SAT: 2230 (800 reading, 770 math, 660 writing)
SAT Subject: 800 Chemistry, 800 Math 2, 800 Biology M
Major I applied to: Computer Science B.S. + M.S. Bourns College of Engineering
I didn’t get any scholarship notification and I got a 3.8 capped gpa and 2010 sat. I expected at least the highlander excellence award, but I don’t know 
I received an email inviting me to a “scholarship celebration”, so I checked here and since people have received scholarships, I checked my UCR account.
Chancellor’s Scholarship offer! I’m not sure if it’s based on numbers only or essays too, but in case this helps anybody out, my basic academic stats:
SAT: 2130 (740 M, 700CR, 690 Wr)
2070 (670 M, 630 Cr, 770 Wr)
ACT: 32 (35 E, 33 M, 31 R, 29 S, 8 essay)
31 (32 E, 29 M, 32 R, 29 S, 10 essay)
GPA: UW: 3.89 (9-12); 3.92 (10-12)
Weighted: 4.23 (9-12); 4.37 (10-12) UC’s I believe only calculate 10-12 GPA
i also applied under guaranteed admission program last June and so was notified of my acceptance in late September.
Very excited by the news!!! I didn’t really expect money from them.

I logged in and have nothing on my portal! Does any one think they are coming out by major or is it really all at once? Because I am not sure if they would notify us that we did not receive a scholarship or if we should just assume that we did not receive one!
@snoopocean I honestly do not know. I am sad because I really expected I would get some sort of scholarship… If not-- well c’est la vie.
