When writing down all the ECs on the application (Common App), how do people fill in the hours?

Hi,

I've done a lot of EC activities, and I have a question about filling in the hours of the ECs on the Common App.
I've tutored a student two hours a day, seven days a week (he's having a big exam sometime very soon, so we've been focusing on preparing for the exam for months).
So it's like 2 hrs x 7 days x 30 weeks = 420 hrs.
Is it better to write it the way it is? Or would it be better if I tutored her two hrs a day, two days a week for 105 weeks? That's 420 hrs anyway.

I'm so scared that colleges might think I'm not being honest if I say I tutored her for two hours every single day, but it's true....
Am I being dishonest if I say the other way even though the number of the hours is the same?

the hours section is hours per week. type in 14 hours a week.

@guineagirl96‌ Yeah but my question was can I say 4 hours a week? I have a lot of leadership roles and APs, and I watched this video on Youtube where the application viewer at Stanford says that it looks suspicious if you have a lot of leadership roles AND APs AND volunteers AND sports AND music AND so on. She says it’s almost impossible to do that so they have to check everything on the application. I’ve got nothing to worry about because I did do everything for real, but what if it seems I’m exaggerating? I heard the trend is the lesser, the better. I have other kids I’ve tutored too, so I’m just worried.

also it was a paid job. I’ve been paid for tutoring four kids, and I have leadership roles, APs, volunteers, awards, sports, music, etc. I’m just a hard worker and a very honest person so I’d never lie about that kind of stuff. But after watching that video, I’ve been a bit worried to write all of them down, so I’ve decided to choose some of them that best relate to my intended major, or to say I tutored them for less hours a week.

Don’t get hung up on the # of hours. A good estimate is fine. No one checks. Most of it won’t matter anyway.

Just be honest. if it ever comes up you have proof.
