Do you have to select one when you are going through the application process?
Yes, you can choose the college of arts & science, engineering, or peabody. It doesn’t lock you in though, because you can switch after you get in. But it probably does have some impact on admissions (i.e. probably a bad idea to apply engineering if you haven’t done much math.
Blair School of Music requires an in-person audition.
