When you apply to Wharton...?

Do they ask what your parents do/did for a living? Thanks…

Anyone out there?

You use the regular Penn application to apply to Wharton--just check the Wharton box. The application asks about parents' levels of education & where they went to school & their occupations now. I'm not sure how important that question is. Its mostly used to determine if you're the child of someone influential/a major Penn donor or if you're the 1st generation of the family to go to college. Since most people don't fall into either category, its just used to figure out your socio-economic standing--were you raised by people with high levels of education etc.
