Should you expect some kind of acknowledgement in response to an email cancelling enrollment? A friend of mine told me not to expect anything from University A (where I cancelled) because they're swamped right now, but I'm worried that they might not have gotten my email at all. And I worry a little bit every minute I don't hear from them because I may still be enrolled at University A...but I'm also enrolled at University B and that makes me double enrolled until I'm officially un-enrolled at A. Which is grounds for B to rescind me.

Is there a way to check if you've been un-enrolled? I'm so worried of being rescinded! Thank you!

Call/email University A. Keep inquiring until they give you the information you need. Don’t give up.

Thank you!

So I should never assume they got it? I don’t want to bother them, I know you’re supposed to cancel in as inoffensive a way as possible, so I really don’t want to tick them off in the process.

D was in the same boat, after 2 hours we finally go through to a counselor and she told D to e-mail her and she gave us her personal address. D immediately e-mailed and after 1 week, nothing had changed nor did we get a response. We resent the e-mail ang got an almost immediate response and within 2 days, info on admissions sight had changed…so re-send your e-mail and/or call admissions. Good luck.
