When you prep from the Blue Book...

Do you do sections or whole tests?

i do a section at a time usually. then, like every three weeks or so i take a full practice test.

sections- but mostly like all the math sections, or all the critical reading sections.
most ppl dont have 4 hrs in one sitting to take a test.

If I buy a prep book, such as the princeton sat review, will it have a big impact on my score?

and, is the kaplan prep book better? I heard princeton is the best.

princeton’s the best.

Only use the Blue Book. Princeton is a tad better than Kaplan’s and Barron’s but only because of the latter two are quite lousy in comparison to College Board material.

I just do the Critical Reading, Writing, and even skip the essay part. Just don’t have that much time.

yes i skip the esay too

The essay, i would say, is the only impromptu aspect of the SAT’s-everything else you can practice for
