When you started college, what turned out to be different than you thought?

<p>Aside from deciding to change your major, how was college not what you originally thought it would be like? Both good and bad.</p>

<p>I thought college parties would be cool. Turned out it was booze, awkwardness, booze, shyness, booze, boredom, booze. I mean other parties had all the same booze, but at least it helped the setting there. God forbid somebody wants to dance or chat outside of their comfort group. Well, at least I got to step in vomit!</p>
