I'm a junior right now, and I'm interested in applying to Georgetown, UNC (in-state), and UVa EA, and a plethora of other schools, including Brown, GW, NYU, UPenn, Stanford, Tufts, Wake and Yale during regular decision. I'm curious as to whether or not submitting applications well in advance of the deadline would have any sort of effect on when I would hear back. For example, if I submit regular decision apps in late November or early December, will I hear back earlier than the average student who submits an application a few days before the deadline. This may or may not be a dumb question, but I was curious.

Unless a college has rolling admissions, notification deadlines are established well in advance. And you don’t hear earlier than others.

Thank you! I thought this was the case, but I thought I would ask anyway in case I had misinterpreted the sites.
