I recommend checking out the data for the field at http://www.bls.gov/emp/ep_table_102.htm . BLS is the Bureau of Labor Statistics (within the Dept. of Labor). These people are professional job prospects evaluators. Also, simply google the field’s name with the word “jobs”. Do a few different fields thus to compare them.
