<p>In my region no interviews have been scheduled. </p>
<p>The regional coordinator has not received all the names of applicants from this region. The coordinator and all interviewers are volunteers. Each regional coordinator may have to assigned several hundred interviews to alumni. The assignment process may require several weeks. I would estimate that most interviews will be conducted between November 15th and November 30th. A few interviews may be conducted earlier or later. </p>
<p>There is absolutely no significance to when you are contacted for an interview. The last applicant interviewed has the same chance of admission as the first applicant interviewed. </p>

<p>And the fact is the # of applicants has outstripped most Ivy volunteer networks. My Ivy group used to interview +95% of applicants in our large metro area. But the apps have more than doubled over the last 4-5 years. I can guarantee you that we are not interviewing 95% of applicants – it’s just impossible. I used to interview 5-6 kids. Now I interview 15-18 on avg. It’s used to be fun – now it veers into the “laborious” category. But I still do it because the need is there.</p>

<p>I live in Ontario and I received an email from princeton notifying me about my alumni interview last night! I live in a really small town so I was surprised there were any alumni in my area.</p>
<p>Princeton seems to have alumni everywhere. I just got my interview notification a day ago.</p>
<p>S was contacted by his interviewer a couple of months after receiving a Likely Letter.</p>

<p>@Happypah - recruited athletes may receive likely letters. The rationale for the letter is that these athletes might otherwise sign an NLI at another NCAA D1 school if not offered the letter to assure them that they have met the admission criteria and will be granted admission to Princeton. They still need to follow all the same admission guidelines as other applicants but the timeline is different because of the early NCAA signing date in the first week or two of November each year.</p>
<p>@Happypah: after the SCEA period, non-athlete RD applicants may also be targeted with Likely Letters. Once Feb rolls around, an astonomical # of questions about those erupt on this website.</p>
