when's the last day to drop a test?

when is the last day to drop a test and get refunded? (is it too late for the may 6th test already?)

I'm not sure of the last day... but I know that it's too late to get refunds for the May 6th test by now.

oh... :( okay then. thanks!

If you really feel unprepared for the test, you can just not show up and it'll be canceled... you just won't get any money back.

What if I registered for two subject tests and decided not to take one of them? Can I just leave after the first one?

I don't think you can drop a test and get refunded after you officially register. Your only option is to just not take it and lose your $8. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

csquare: No, you can either take the two tests or cancel the two tests.

Is it the same for AP tests? If i don't show up they will just cancel the test?

Wait, what? I don't care about being refunded or anything, but if I take one and not the other, they'll just cancel both scores anyway? That doesn't sound right.

I think they do cancel both scores... The CB website says this:

SAT Subject Tests

If you erase all responses to an individual Subject Test, it will be considered a request for cancellation, and scores from all tests taken.

It says it here: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/scores/cancel.html

I thought that was if you started taking the test and decided in the middle you didn't want it scored after all. The College Board site also says this - http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/reg/regFAQ.html#four

I think maybe I'll call them to be safe.

That FAQ thing is really helpful. Never mind what I said before :P

So... what if you go, take two tests and then AFTER the tests you decide you don't want to keep your scores for one of the tests but still want it for the other.

possible? lol.

no it's not precocious

you cancel 1 test, all scores are canceled.
Maybe you can take one and then tell the proctor to throw the other answer sheet in the trash or something
