<p>So I have completed my ED application, and I have begun searching for scholarships..</p>

I know I'm starting late, but I don't know what scholarships and which ones I can apply for. I don't want to apply for just any scholarship I can get my hands on-- like the ones which offer a "chance" for money by referring 5 friends. </p>
<p>I don't know where to start, and I fear time is running out. Please help?</p>
<p>You can find out about local scholarships through your HS GC. Most of those will be for relatively low amounts and generally for fr year only.</p>
<p>Hopefully your ED school has good scholarships because that is where most students get scholarship $ - from the colleges themselves.</p>
<p>If you’re looking for scholarships to help pay for FOUR years of college, then you’re probably not going to find much/anything.</p>
<p>Most private scholarships are SMALL and only for freshman year. </p>
<p>Rarely can students find outside private scholarships that make any dent in four years of college costs. </p>
<p>If you want scholarships that are renewable for all FOUR years then you need to QUICKLY apply to the colleges that award them…those scholarship deadlines are approaching.</p>
