Where are Dartmouth applicants from?

On cc it's different because there are applicants from all over, but does anyone know which states have most dartmouth applicants? I ask because I've heard that Dartmouth mainly draws students from the New England area... and perhaps they are reaching out to Cali students (like me).

Hopefully they reach out to California students (fellow Californian applicant here)

I was looking at the breakdown of states where matriculating 08 students are from, and it seems that the majority come from mid atlantic states....but at the same time, I feel like SOO many ppl on the D forum are from cali...my D student interviewer was from cali, and when i did an overnight there, i met a few ppl from cali.

From the class of 2008 states which have the most students ar NY, CA, MA, NJ, CT, TX

Do you guys have a link where I can see? =)

bcp05- sadly, I would have to agree with you. There's not too much to do in San Jose. ;)

I live in Piedmont (which is inside of Oakland 10 minutes away from the Cal campus). I must say that I truly love living in the East Bay. :)

PS- wow- so far 37.5% of the people on the list are from NorCal. That's cool.
