How's it shaping up? Am I already "defeated" by my GPA?

Oh, and should I use debate as a hook? Essays are no problem, nor are recommendations. Major will be in the Government/Political Science area, as well as Business Administration or Economics.

So I’m just wondering what would be recommended with what I have.

(Couldn’t find an edit button, sorry.)

Last chance bump.

Well, where do you want to apply? Any ideas? Area of the country? Distance from home? Etc..

That could help with the recommendations.

Well, preferrably a good political science school – University of Michigan, Bowdoin College, and Northwestern, for example. Wesleyan University also looks good. Price isn’t much of an issue, nor is distance, but I’d rather keep out of New York for personal reasons. As a reach, University of Chicago. I wouldn’t mind going to the University of Notre Dame or Duke, for that matter, heh, although again, reaches I imagine. Boston University too.

Oh, and of course, Ohio State University.

Er, should I list more?

American
George Washington
Georgetown
Dartmouth
Lawrence University
Macalester College – this one would be nice due to distance, admittedly.
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Washington University in St. Louis
