<p>Hello I am a math major who is considering transferring to UCI, I was just wondering if there where any math majors in the forum. I was hoping to check out where the math majors are going? I was wondering which UC had the ideal math program and i was wondering if people could give me feed back on the math department of UCI, in particular the applied math portion. </p>

<p>Berkeley has a top tier math program for grad at least. Up there with MIT, Princeton, Harvard.</p>
<p>I got accepted to SB, SD, LA, R, and I. Im considering SB the most! Seems like the school has a good program and UCSB should offer a nice challenging atmosphere while being relaxed at the same time. People will probably see this and say why would you choose SB over LA and my response would be to not choose a school based on its title, but the one you feel is the best fit for you and where you are most likely to thrive.</p>
