Where are the scholarships???

<p>I'm transferring from Sac City College to UC San Diego. I do the fafsa and the Cal Grant and I want to avoid student loans for as long as i can. For the life of me i can't find any transfer student scholarships/aid. UCSD only has one and the max you can get is 2000. Where can I find some.</p>

<p>Also I don't like FastWeb or scholarships.com or any other scholarship web site. I'm not even sure they work.</p>

<p>You already applied for FAFSA? is Cal grant included to FAFSA?</p>

<p>I got an e-mail from each school a couple months after I applied inviting me to apply for transfer/re-entry student scholarships. (this was for UCR, UCLA, and UCB)</p>

<p>I haven't applied for the FAFSA yet, you can only start on Jan. 1 I think. The FAFSA and Cal Grant are two different things.</p>
