where are transfers housed?

I want to transfer to Rutgers, but one of my main concerns is where I am going to live. Do they put transfers with freshman in a dorm? Or are there separate dorms for transfers/upperclassmen and freshman?

I'm probably going to SEBS so does that have an effect on where I'll live?

I've heard they put people in a hotel and I really don't want that.

My son was a transfer junior last year and he was put in a dorm with all other transfer students on the Livingston campus. I believe that Rutgers did not place anyone in a hotel this year, but they did in the previous year.

transfers usually end up in rooms/buildings with other transfers. Sometimes they put u in suites like low rise mccormick suites.

I’m a transfer student and was placed in Hardenbergh Hall on college ave(number 1 choice) submitted my housing in early may. Theres about 16 transfers in my building.

Jmac, are all the transfers in your building together in one area and/or roommates? Or are you guys all spread out?
