Where are you all from for those applying to American schools?

<p>I'm from Vancouver (Richmond to be exact) BC and let me tell you, more people in my school are applying to American universitiess than Canadian ones! Is it the case with the rest of Canada? I'm really curious whether or not this is a national situation or regional phenomenon since Canadian schools like UT McGill and Queens are pretty good too</p>

<p>Alberta, hardly anyone in my school is applying to the USA</p>

<p>Southern Ontario, very few apply from here. I’m the only one at my school.</p>

<p>SASKATCHEWAN!!! WOOOO!!! haha just kidding, there is not much to woo about. But ya, I am one of about 4 people in my grade who are applying to american schools. Around here, almost all of us go to the U of S. It is basically a given.</p>

<p>Coquitlam, BC Not a lot of ppl apply to US schools, I’m one of the only two that are applying.</p>

<p>Richmond is definitely an anomaly. The high proportion of wealthy Chinese parents results in many more applications to the US than there would otherwise be.</p>

<p>People who can afford 20k/year for high school can probably afford 50k/year for university xD. I got into saints but decided not to go because it was too expensive…</p>

<p>I’m from Vancouver but I don’t know where I’ll apply yet… Only in Grade 11 :)</p>

<p>I’m from Vancouver also, one of the only two in my class that are applying to US colleges.</p>
