Are there any students from the German-speaking region of Europe (Austria, Switzerland etc.) or from Romania?

Hi! I'm Californian, about an hour and 15 minutes from Stanford.

puerto rican!! boricua baby! haha.

southern california as well (i refuse to say socal...)

hey dietberd, korean living in austria!

Japanese, but lived in Europe for 5 years or so. Went to the international school in Switzerland, so yes, I'm from a german speaking part of the world as well.

Hi,

Hey KAZtro62, what international school did you go to? cos i also finished high school in an international school in switzerland :P while we're at it, that has also made me learn some german....

Mine was in basel, I guess the 3rd biggest city in Switzerland. I did the IB, so had to choose German as a 2nd language. I'm probably starting a new language, like Spanish at Stanford though. Had enough German for now.

mhmm! mine was isberne, not far from yours then. i went to isbasel once to play in a soccer tournament :P so yeah i also did the IB, i chose to do both french and german as second language... dunno what it is i'll pursue in stanford though =/

So you've already been to my (old) school. They built a new building a few years ago, so I guess the soccer field felt a little new as well. Where are you originally from anyways? I came to Europe because of my father's business, a really common reason to be abroad.
