Where are you going to live at Johns Hopkins Class of 2012?

which housing?

I'm thinking Wolman...

Building A/B

Most likely Building A/B cause of the practice rooms, but i'd be happy at that one or AMR I

FYI, there are no practice rooms in buildings A or B - practice rooms are in the basement of AMR II (I'm not sure about AMR I)

A&B. Climate control is nice. :3

you guys are just assuming you get your first choice right?

you guys are just assuming you get your first choice right?

That's true. =\ Not everyone gets their first choice. Or second. I would say "or third" but it wouldn't be that bad to end up in McCoy, I think.

and you all must be ED admits right? since I dont think any RD people got their housing forms yet.

I got my housing form two nights ago, and I'm an RD admit.

So did my friend from school...

You'll get your housing notification sometime in early July, if I remember correctly.

any other RD admit not get any housing forms yet?

should i be worried

AMR Single if I get what I want!!

why do u like singles?

building a/b, wolman seemed so separated from the main campus

Contrary to popular belief Wolman is not far from the campus, because really JHU doesn't really have a huge campus to begin with. It is a very nice size. You are right across from the beach. I think that all the freshman dorms have their pros and cons. Believe you will like it wherever you end up.

First choice is Wolman, second choice is A/B.

AC/Kitchenettes ftw

Im just a big fan of having my own space. Don't get me wrong, I love people and I love hanging out/going out. It's just that I'm not going to be able to go home too much because it requires a plane trip, and sometimes you just need a little space to yourself, you know?

Actually, when I was there, it seemed pretty much equidistant from campus compared to the other two dorms. It might seem further on a map, but really, it's a walk at all. Especially if you end up living in the library - pro: Wolman is closer to the library. (Though farther from the FFC. You can't get closer than A&B.)

...I still like A&B though. Maybe I'm just a sucker.

Wolman:

Pros: AC, Kitchenette, unique living style, get to be really close to everyone on your floor.

cons: walking distance to FFC is a *****, not situated on freshman quad (where all the freshmens should be living btw), lack of social life etc..

Thats why they are going to build a AMR 3 and evacuating Wolman freshmens to this new building in the future so there could be enhanced freshmen unity, enhanced cohesiveness, and consistent freshmen experience.
