Where are you going??

I am going into my senior year here in Western PA. I have decided on Biomedical engineering as my major. I have visited Northwestern, Michigan, Johns Hopkins, UVA, Case Western, and Pitt.

I have identified NU as my primary target because I just loved the campus during the tour. I loved the small city feel next to a major city. I loved the lakeside atmosphere and the low faculty rate. I loved the curriculum setup and the engineer first idea. Michigan would be 1A, followed by Case.

Fellow engineering students, where are you heading next year? Who are your targets? Why do you prefer A over B?

Thanks for reading and participating.

Would you be interested in Georgia Tech? It has an excellent biomed program and I think it would meet the criteria that you are looking for.

Thanks for the pitch, GT is actually ranked #1 by US News in Biomedical engineering. I am from PA, and GT’s out of state financial package is awful, unlike the aboved mentioned schools.

My parents make south of 80k a year, so my need base package would be huge from any of the top research institutes.
