I’m in AB, and we just started derivatives of arcsin, arccos, etc. We’ve been working on integration for a few weeks. My teacher said we’ll finish by spring break and start reviewing until the test. On an unrelated note, does anyone how much the test is curved? It’s really the only test I’m stressing about.

thepotato, we did L’Hopital’s rule yesterday.

mook32, you should have plenty of time to finish and review before the exam. I took the ap calc exam last year and my teacher finished before spring break. I also passed it.

we’re done learning i’m pretty sure. we just finished with uv substitution, like how to solve a complex integral with uv - (integral of uv’dx)

i’m dreading taking the exam :(

CrzyGmer789X2:

Glad to hear that. I’m pretty sure that our curriculum is almost done, yes.

We’re still at the start of derivatives… :(

My class is starting the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus tomorrow…pretty far behind or right on track?

If you’re on Fundamental Theorem of Calculus in early March, you probably still have a significant amount of work to do. You’ll definitely have some definite integrals work, as well as areas and volumes (which take some time to master). Depending on the text, you may also have u-substitution, seperable differential equations, and slope fields to look at as well.

We have slope fields and we’re done.

Lol I just realized this was an AB thread and not a BC thread. I was like “good god, these kids are far behind.”

L’ Hospital’s Rule in the Stewart book, which comes with the logs and trig inverse derivatives part. Starting BC self-study, oh yeah.

Finishing up definite integrals now. My class moves slow since AB is the only type my school has.

we are in partial derivatives right now :)

A little past slope fields

we’re done basically. this next week we basically chill in class and take a practice test. and the week after that is our final which is an old ap test
i need to start bc studying haha.

We just started volumes of solids in revolution. Roughly two more chapters to go in our book.

If you are done with the AB material at the moment. Is BC doable in the remaining time? (For a 5 that is)

I’m currently self-studying Calc AB and I’m about to be done with Ch. 2 in Calculus of a Single Variable by Larson. Can someone tell me which chapter AB goes up to and which sections are skipped (if any)?

What book are you using?

Sorry edited I’m using Calculus of a Single Variable by Larson and Hostetler.
