we just finished the reformation(after jackson) era. and we're doing polk now.

it seems that everybody is still in school....

They're at the gilded age at my school.

Right before break, we finished up the march to Industrialism, basically late 1800s early 1900s.

We finished the Civil War and Reconstruction before break (Ch. 1 - 22 in Bailey) and then we're doing one chapter in the Industrialization Era during break (Ch. 25).

I might note, however, that I live in Los Angeles, so we didn't start school until September 8.

we're up to the Spanish-American War

Since I'm on block scheduling, I've already finished. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to review until May rolls around.

Currently, I'm working through Sparknote's SAT II US History which I'm taking in January. I'm actually suprised at how much I remember.

we just finished the civil war with the american pageant before break

mind you, this was after we were out for a month because of hurricane ivan

we're almost finished with WWII (AP American history is only a semester, though...so I finish the class at the end of January. My school is on a block schedule with only four classes for each quarter)

we're on block schedule also (4 classes per semester)...but AP classes run through the entire year

My school's on a block schedule, but APUS is a 1 1/2 semester course. We left off on Wilson.

we're in bailey..just finished up chapter 22..we have to read chapter 23 for break.

what book are you guys going to use to study for the AP US History Test itself? I've heard taht REA is really comprehensive, but I thought that the Princeton Review might be more concise. Any ideas?

I'm going to use REA (have used it a bit to help study for tests already, and it's covered most of the important info..). I'll take some tests from PR if I have time.

I use REA now...its really helpful...I use it to study for the Unit tests also

We left off on chapter 27,28(we do 2 chapters a week), which was the great west and agricultural revolution and the revolt of the debtor. When we come back from break we will be on chapters 29,30 which is the path of the empire and america on the world state. I'm just glad that i'm more than half way done with that book.

I'm also on block scheduling, and just finished the class. I'm pretty doubtful on whether I'll pass the test in May or not. What are some good books and internet sites to study with?

Anyone posting here from Ky?
