My class is learning how to find arc length and area of polar graphs.

next i think we have sequences and series.

Where is your class?

btw- my class is ab first semester bc second semester

We just did area of polar graphs... basic diffeqs next, I think. woohoo!

we finished seq & series and are doing polars

seems like everyone is just going at a random order...

my school is so competitive, if i dont get a 5, youre basically shunned by society. forever.

what are your predictions for scores?

um... not quite at polar yet... just before infinite series... yea... pretty much 4's and 5's are expected

we're starting infinite series...people say its the hardest chapter

yeah it is. at our school, there are only three students taking BC and we are collectively called the "Mathside." were by far the best math students EVER at our school and so our teacher is like going to kill us if we dont get 5's. we sit in the back of a calculus AB class and play games and stare out the window and try to have out of body experiences....sometimes we do math.

we just finished integrals and are starting disk/washer revolutions

doing infinite series

your doing disk and washer revolutions in bc? we are doing that now in ab we are taking a test on wed. on that stuff

remember bod312, BC is half of AB + the extra C stuff. the C stuff can be learned, IMHO, in about a month and a half so its not really all that bad.

We just finished trig substitution and we're doing differential equations. in our school 75% of the class gets 5s. So i'm not worried at all.

my school has a 95% pass rate for BC. it's very high. i like imiracle am not that worried about our pace.

wait, imiracle, my calc teacher keeps on saying that theres no trig substitution on the test...

but whatev...my school has like, 82/97 students getting 5's and the rest getting 4's...so i think im set?

my teacher too said that trig substitution was not on the exam

me on polar equations and then on to sequences and series!!

Hmm, i don't think you need to worry too much about where the class is. I didn't even take AP calc but got a 4 on the BC test. Self-study works too.
