I hardly find anything on uni sites to do with IB, only GPA

HL

Econ - 7
Hist - 7
Chem - 6

SL

French Ab Initio - 6
Maths - 6
English A1 - 5

I havent taken SAT's yet.

With these grades, how much SAT's and SAT II scores would i need to get into the top 7 - 15 Uni's in America??
I wanna major in economics then do Law.

Thanks

Have you thought of where in particular you’ve wanted to apply? That might help us pull up some information.

I mean, just asking us to find information for top schools isn’t going to work. I’m asking if you have a dream school in mind. Sorry. /edit

Cornell, Northwestern, NYU, Duke and other Uni’s with similar rankings.

I checked all their sites and emailed them as well as tried to contact them but so far i have no info.

thanks

Wow, tht was so fast.

i did find useful stuff, not exact minimum IB scores in total but i found out that ill need 6’s and 7’s in my HL. Thank god im getting these so far

I have like, no life right now. D: Freaking summer…

As for SAT scores, expect to aim highly (such as 2000+). I don’t know -exact- scores you’ll need, but as a precaution…

Thank you so much:

This is my summer plan:-

-Study for SAT’s and aim for 2000+
-Get work experience (possibly in Switzerland!) for a law firm
-Do my IB courseworks
- Possibly study for SAT II’s

I will apply to UofT, UBC, McGill and various US Uni’s for a major in Economics (then go on to do law)

Do u think this is a good plan???
thakns again

It’s not a problem. XD I might as well help with what I know, right? Aha, thank you career class…

That sounds pretty amazing!
Will the law firm take you as an intern (or whichever position — I’m hardly familiar with out-of-state law things, much less out of country law things) with the education you’re getting now? You may want to check into that. I’m assuming you have, though.

Another thing. Apply for some other schools, too, even if they don’t fit your standard. Since you’re coming to America for your bachelors (And subsequently, your law degree?), you don’t need to go to the best school to get into the best law school. I’m going to use the example my teacher gave me.

“Let’s say there’s two students. One’s at a state uni, and he’s getting straight A’s. The other is at a private school, and they’re getting a B+ average. Which one is the law school going to take, based on grades alone?”

I’m just kinda tired right now and remembering what he said. xD; I need to stop that.
