Where can I buy cheap, authentic UCLA sweaters?

I went to the mall today and visited some stores but they were like $50...too expensive. looking for the $30-35 range. Also, i guess Nike doesn't sell UCLA stuff. The nike factory store only had trojan gear. Who has the rights to the Bruin brand?

UCLA’s under contract with Adidas. Cheap and authentic tend to be mutually exclusive, unless you wear XXXL (then just wait for the next red tag sale at Ackerman, lol).

do they sell ucla sweaters at regular department stores like robinson’s may or macy’s etc?

Seems unlikely, though I rarely go to department stores so I can’t say for sure…

LA Chinatown (wink, wink) You can buy them on ebay or local sporting goods stores in Westwood. Check TJ Maxx or Marshall’s at California locations-they always have UCLA hats

I got one from Costco. I think it was 15-20 bucks and looks just like an adidas one, minus the adidas logo.

901westwood on westwood and le conte

how are any of those authentic? you gotta go get the legit bruinwear ones on campus if you want authentic… i don’t think it’ll qualify as cheap tho :D

If you eat at Rendezvous 19 times a week, I’m sure you’ll quickly fit into a half-price authentic UCLA sweater.

You can also get really crappy designs for cheap since nobody wants them. I think I saw a 2009 UCLA Basketball Final Four T-shirt at the Valentine’s Day sale.

I like that our contract is with Adidas. Their products are consistently of higher quality than Nike’s.

I actually think that Nike uses better materials in their products and has more innovative designs. The replica adidas basketball jerseys and shorts at the uclastore are total cr@p for the prices that they are being sold for ($55 and $45, respectively). The designs are boring too. Luckily, the adidas contract is going to expire this year and hopefully Nike will sign with us, which is unlikely since adidas likes to spend most of their money on the big schools, such as Notre Dame, Michigan, Kansas…

bruinwear is overpriced

Yeah, it is. That’s what you get when you add a premium brand with another well known college brand. Adidas is relatively expensive on its own. I think buying your bruinwear somewhere other than the UCLA store will be cheaper.

But personally I don’t get the allure of a UCLA hoodie. Most if them look shoddy other than that signature one and who wears hoodies anymore? The 00’s are over.

Didn’t RobinsonMay go bankrupt ages ago?

Costco is good, also try stores like Champs and Footlocker

not all of the clothing is printed on adidas or nike or etc. stuff. some of it is just some generic crap. I find it hard to spend $17 on a t-shirt of that poor quality. Same goes for the sweaters and hoodies.

i agree with you. it’s not practical at all, and it’s also ghetto.

Most of the hoodies are Jansport, Russell Atheltic or Champion.

The super sales at the UCLA store halloween and valentines day. I remember getting two UCLA sweaters and a UCLA shirt for 40 bucks. (Though you have to go early to get normal sizes)
