I read a post in which a user suggested buying the 10 Real SATs, linked below from Amazon. However, it's an old edition and I was wondering if there are more recent exams. (I also heard that the old SAT, pre-2005, had analogies and an optional essay, whereas now, analogies don't exist and writing is required)

Amazon.com: 10 Real SATs, Third Edition (9780874477054): The College Board: Books

Thanks!

Well, if you haven’t already used the Blue Book ([Amazon.com: The Official SAT Study Guide, 2nd edition (9780874478525): The College Board: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Official-SAT-Study-Guide-2nd/dp/0874478529/ref=pd_sim_b_3)), then get that. But I have a feeling you already have…

You can also subscribe to Collegeboard’s online course, which apparently features tests that are not the same as the ones in the BB (I haven’t actually used the online course, but this is what I’ve heard).

Otherwise, it is illegal to post actual SAT exams online or to publish them, so those are very hard to find. I’m curious as to whether they even exist.

Good luck!

^ Does the Blue Book have past SATs though? I thought that the Blue Book is only recommended because it is the closest thing to the real deal.

^ Well, College Board / ETS make the blue book. And they are the companies that produce the actual SAT.

I know for certain that the first two exams in the BB were previously released SAT exams. And the other 8 exams were probably tests that were going to be SATs but they decided to not release them. But either way, they are produced by the makers of the SAT, so they are bound to be accurate.

Yes they exist, they’re called “QAS”.

The first 3 exams in the blue book were actual SATs. The remaining 7 were never administered but contain many problems from older SATs from the late 90s and early 00s.

I have the Blue Book, and because only the first three exams were actual tests, I was wondering if there were additional tests out there. I know some of the past APs are available for purchase from the CB Store, but didn’t know if the same was available w/ the SATs…
