I really hate buying books and feel like the only prep I need is a few practice tests. I need practice tests for the US History and Math I subject tests. Are there any sites that have free practice tests for those subjects?

sparknotes - register to get one free test

any other place?

why I can't even get the free one in Sparknotes? They always ask me for a credit card...:(

On the page where it lists all the Subject Tests, look on the right hand side. In pretty small print, it says "Try your first test for free!" or something along those lines.

I heard that if you register for Sparknotes multiple times, you can get more than one free test.

Yea I clicked "Try your first test for free!" but then it asks me to login then I login and it asked me for a credit card. ;(

Is there simply somewhere I can download the test?

allie it did the same thing with me, i just made a new account and it gave me the free test... you have to have more than one e-mail address though to create a new account... i wonder if it works if you just make up an e-mail address

It does work if you make up e-mail addresses, since I just took my 2nd free test.

Wait, where is this? I looked all over the page, and I still can't find it. I signed up for an account, too, although it didn't ask for credit card info.

Yea I signed up for another account and now it works fine. Thanks for telling me Shazilla! :)

It's on the right hand side says "Your first practice test is free.".

Btw, are these practice tests from Sparknotes good for physics and mathiic?

it's too easy for physics, i got 800s but then didn't on the real exam. for math, it was about the same i think. but that was a year ago so i don't remember.

How much did u get on the real test? (for physics)

700 but that was my freshman year so i was satisfied.

^ What kind of physics class did you have? Honors?

normal physics. we don't have honors. it's normal or AP. i took AP this year but i dont feel like studying for it.

700 is great for regular physics! My school has regular and honors, but not AP. I might be in Physics honors next year, but I'm apprehensive toward taking the SAT II because I know a lot of schools do offer it as an AP, so I'd be competing against those kids...

only Physics B students are prepared for it. physics C covers only some things... my school only offers C... people self study B. i think honors will prepare you enough for it.

x3rose, are you sure that sparknote physics practice tests are easy? Cuz I found they are kind of tricky.

um, i'm not sure, that was two years ago.. but i do remmeber getting 800s on pracs then 700 on the real one.
