heres my profile in short:
international student
SAT:
maths- 700, CR- 570, and writing- 650
will give the SAT again

leadership qualities: appointed head boy of the school (thats like class president in the U.S.)
I have an excellent academic record and decent ECA's..

I would prefer a univ in a small city, or away from any large one.
a good campus environment, beautiful, and mid-sized

i wish to pursue mechanical engineering (undergrad)

So, assuming whatever little i told you, which universities can i get into?

You will “take” not “give” the SAT. What is your TOEFL score?

How much money do you have to pay for your education?

Have you read everything (and I do indeed mean everything) at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.state.gov/) Did you visit the advising center closest to you? What did the counselors there tell you?

take- right
104/120 on toefl ibt so im pretty much above min scores set
tuition fees for univs are pretty much covered, but am applying for aid,
advising centre- there are none- its delhi india, i dont think they have those …
ive checked plenty of sites, got info, but haven’t gone through ‘everything’ as u said.

i take cambridge a levels, so i just dont know where i stand and what potential i have for U.S universities.

i do know abt the univs but im not sure to where i stand so i asked the previous question

Email the advising center closest to you, and ask for their help.

Most US colleges and universities know what to do with A level results. You need to communicate with the international admissions offices.

It is very difficult for international students to receive financial aid. For better ideas, you should visit the International Students forum and the sub-forum for students from India. Click on Discussion Home in the upper-left of this screen and then scroll down.
