<p>Personally, I would advise you to retake the SAT. 2380 is good, but 2400 shows that you are top notch and will certainly make you shine above all the other applicants.</p>
<p>i totally agree with sai2004, sat 2380 is good but if you're asian you need 2400 to get into hypsm or aws. </p>

momrath- top schools in general attract a large percentage of asian applicants so schools with low percentage of asian applicants usually means they're not that good.</p>
<p>Retaking a 2380... honestly I think that could actually hurt you. I doubt there's much if any advantage of a 2380 over a 2400. Admission's officers know that there is a normal 30 point deviation anyway. The only thing that I believe re-taking the test would show is that you're obsessive, that's probably not the type of perfectionism they want to see.</p>
